John and Susan Elliot farm predominantly sheep and beef on their 5200 hectare property in the Paerau valley. Situated in the southern end of the Maniototo with the Taieri River as one boundary, the Loganburn reservoir as another. It is an extensive high country station.
Beef cattle have also been on Lammermoor with around 300 breeding cows run predominantly
on the tussock land. Bull Beef has also been on the station for the last ten years. Dependant on seasons they are
generally finished on farm.
Grain production is also a large part of the programme at Lammermoor and feeds straight into our distillery operation!
Fine wool production has been part of the Station for over 90 years. Watch the video below to see what our wool is made into.
